GPs form the 'front-line' of modern health care. They provide diagnosis and treatment for everyday ailments, as well as referring more serious complaints to suitable specialists.
But NHS GPs are increasingly unable to deliver these services. Newspaper reports tell of patients having to wait weeks for an appointment, and of cases where consultations are hurried along by having an egg-timer in full view of patients. Is this really the way to provide high quality health care?

Our private GP service is available in its own right, however it is also an integral part of our Total Health Care package, which offers many additional benefits.
Northlands Practice will always endeavor to give advice and see patients 24 hours a day. However, due to the nature of the practice this is not always feasible so we would like to remind patients that you are still entitled to NHS care & if we cannot be contacted sufficiently quickly between the hours of 6.00pm & 8.00am, NHS out of hours facilities should be used.
